How to decode Shakespeare!

Sunday, September 29th | @ 8817 South Broadway, Highlands Ranch

Time: 2:00 – 3:30 pm | Grades 7 – 12 | $30 per student

No experience needed!

Learning how to perform Shakespeare well is an invaluable skill for any actor. Shakespeare’s language can seem daunting, but it doesn’t need to be.  In this workshop, Elise provides students with a variety of tools for understanding and performing Shakespeare’s text. By learning how to make heightened language clear and compelling, actors improve their ability to perform both classical and contemporary works.

Note: Please wear clothes that allow you to move comfortably. Please bring a pencil as we will be doing some text work. Shakespeare sonnets or 1-minute sections of Shakespearean monologues will be provided at the workshop. If you have a piece of text you want to understand better, feel free to bring two copies .

No refund for cancellations and no discounts apply to this workshop.
