Show Description

Join us for a week of Dr. Seuss silly fun! For this week-long program, campers jump into theatricalizing Seuss stories! In their exploration, they may encounter stories and activities about beloved Seuss characters such as The Lorax, Horton the Elephant, The Cat in the Hat, Thing 1 and 2, Sam-I-Am, Yertle the Turtle and The Sneetches. Stories are co-created with the students as they explore how to take words on a page onto a stage through movement and voice. Lots of chance for silly Seuss fun and rhyming! A great chance to make new friends! The week includes crafts, theatre practice, snack and outdoor time (weather permitting), and lots of fun! The week’s adventure ends with a celebratory Shareformance for family and friends.
