Spring Studio

Grades (7th – 12th)

The young artists in Studio 3 engage in studies of dance, music and text-based acting work, using scripts and non-scripted practice to learn and apply theatrical skills. More complex age-appropriate theatrical material is used for this age group, to keep their interest and engagement as they explore stories in dramatic fashion. At this age, the artists often ask to be challenged, and we meet them where they are so they can express their individuality, as well as learn to be a part of a collaborative whole, while encouraging them to go further in their theatrical learning and application.

At the end of the Studio class sessions, there is an opportunity for the students to share what they have learned with friends and family.

Studio 3 participants have their very own fully-staged and produced show in the Fall Studios. They can also participate in the Spring Studio 2 & 3 Production (grades 2-12), and join in several production experience options during the summer. These performance opportunities take the children through supportive and age-designed rehearsal processes, culminating in shows that are up in front of an audience, complete with lights, sound, costumes, props and set.

Snack n’ Chat
5:15 – 5:30 PM – An opportunity for students to have a snack, meet new friends, and do a mini-activity focused on values such as leadership, collaboration, engagement, and compassion. This is required for all students in both sessions.

Family and friends join us as classes share a short selection from their work together in the Studios!

Minimum enrollment for each class is 5 students. If the minimum requirement is not met, the class is cancelled and those students are requested to select an alternative.

Space is limited and registrations are taken on a first come, first served basis. No registration is complete without payment in full.

After completing your registration form you will be directed to pay online or pay by check. If you choose the pay by check option, late payments will be subject to fees as detailed in our Payment Policy.  PAA has recently added new Payment Option Plans to help you with your family budget.  Read more about the available Payment Options.  You will select your payment option after you register for a camp or class.

If you want to use a payment plan – The payment plan schedule in your emailed receipt is a place holder. You will be contacted with an updated payment plan schedule based on 30 days after the registration date.
