Summer Camp
Big Fish School Edition
For students who are entering 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th and students who graduated High School in 2024.
Students who enroll inย Big Fishย are expected to audition for a spot in the program.ย Not everyone who auditions will be cast.ย Students are expected to bring a professional level of effort and dedication to the audition and rehearsal process. It is the intent of this program that students will gain a level of experience that will help prepare them for college theatre programs and beyond.
Summer camps start the day with a morning conversation around a positive, enriching value or theme for the day, such as compassion, leadership, or communication. There is also wrap up time at the end of the day to conclude the day with reflection on the dayโs value or theme.
This is an action-packed and challenging week(s) full of learning, fun, and friends! Students will study acting, music, and dance as part of the rehearsal process, which also includes technical elements such as lights, sound, set, costumes, props, and projections. Camps end with a fully-staged performance!

Show Description:
Based on the celebrated novel by Daniel Wallace and the acclaimed film directed by Tim Burton, BIG FISH centers on Edward Bloom, a traveling salesman who lives life to its fullestโฆ and then some! Edwardโs incredible, larger-than-life stories thrill everyone around him โ most of all, his devoted wife Sandra. But their son Will, about to have a child of his own, is determined to find the truth behind his fatherโs epic tales. Overflowing with heart, humor and spectacular stagecraft, BIG FISH is an extraordinary Broadway musical that reminds us why we love going to the theatre โ for an experience thatโs richer, funnier and BIGGER than life itself.
Due to licensing restrictions we are prohibited from making a video recording of this production.
