Intensity Levels
Find Your Level. Stay With Your Peers.
Most theatre programs sort students in one of two ways, and both have a catch.
Sort by age, and a class of 10-year-olds might include one kid on their very first day and another who's been in six shows.
Sort by skill (beginner, intermediate, advanced), and a first-time 16-year-old ends up standing next to a first-time 7-year-old.
PAA does it differently. Every class is organized by both age and intensity level, so your student learns alongside kids who are their age and at their stage.
That means:
- A high school sophomore who's always wanted to try ballet can finally sign up, without landing in a room full of second graders.
- An enthusiastic third grader ready to take their singing to the next level can dive in, without being surrounded by intimidating teenagers.
Every student gets a class that fits where they are and who they are.
