2025 PAA GALA – Performers Audition Notice!

We are excited to hold auditions this year for PAA Stars in Arts GALA performers. 

Auditions for grades 7th and up (alumni are welcome to audition as well). 

The 2025 GALA theme is Golden Age of Broadway. In addition to performing about 25 minutes of material during the evening, our performers will be supporting the program during the event. This includes helping with check-in, seating, photos, silent auction before performances begin, events during the program, and the performances throughout the evening. All performances will be in the theme of Golden Age of Broadway. 

For those performers also interested in our fall Conservatory, GALA rehearsals will be held before Peter and the Starcatcher rehearsals, so there is no conflict. Here is the rehearsal schedule. Not everyone will be called to every rehearsal. We will have a schedule. The Friday evening dress rehearsal is mandatory – no conflicts allowed for Friday October 3rd. 

  • Sunday, September 7, 12:00 – 3:00 pm 
  • Sunday, September 14, 12:00 – 3:00 pm  
  • Sunday, September 21, 12:00 – 3:00 pm 
  • Sunday, September 28, 12:00 – 3:00 pm 
  • Dress Rehearsal – Friday, October 3, 5 pm – 8 pm at the venue (Denver Marriott South/Park Meadows – 10345 Park Meadows Drive in Lone Tree) 
  • Call – Saturday, October 4, 1 pm for Final Dress/sound check/prep – the event ends at 9:30 PM. We will be feeding you. 

AUDITIONS

Auditions will be held by video this year. We are looking for approximately 32 bars of any song. Please slate before the performance, introducing yourself and what you are singing. Please submit by 5 pm on Sunday, August 17.  Videos can be sent to Melanie@paacolorado.org and acting@paacolorado.org. When you submit, please let us know of any rehearsal schedule conflicts.

We are looking for approximately a total of 20 performers, 7th grade and up (alumni are welcome to audition as well!) We are looking for 8 – 10 soloists and an additional 10 – 12 ensemble.
