Why PAA?
The past few years have brought a lot of changes to Music and Arts funding and programming in our local schools and the reduction in offers at school has opened up a host of opportunities in the community. SO what sets us apart? We welcome students of all skill levels and help them grow to a new level of skill, confidence and self-esteem. Through our core values of Curriculum, Character and Community we help kids be a better version of themselves. We teach the fundamental skills that carry students from one experience to the next and we talk about things that make us better people. We want our students thinking about who they are in relation to their community outside of theatre and take their gifts to people around them to make this world a better place.
One of my favorite things about PAA is our talented faculty and staff. We have a super strong team of support that surround our very professional and highly qualified Teaching Artists. From top educators to professionals in the business, we have the teachers who will take you to the next level, no matter where you are today. And they will be helping talk about PAA, what is important about the performing arts and tips and tricks that they have learned over the years.
I hope you enjoy all of our posts. We will adding one each week and each week will feature thoughts from a different member of our faculty or staff. Keep posted!
